OneQTrades provides market timing 'buy' and 'sell' signals for the Nasdaq index and is a trend following system which seeks to capture the majority of intermediate market trends. The portfolio is either in cash or fully invested in a Nasdaq index tracking ETF.
The ETF that is used is as follows:
Fidelity Nasdaq Composite Index Tracking (ONEQ)
Although other NASDAQ index tracking ETFs will work as well such as Powershares QQQ Trust, Series 1 ETF (QQQ).
The selection criteria is proprietry.
When the model gives a signal, 100% of the portfolio is immediately switched from the previous position to the new one. Signals are calculated based on the market closing price so signals are typically issued for trades at the market open on the following morning but early signals can be issued for transactions to occur at the market closing price.
